Athletes are welcome to throw both days if there is a class they qualify for each day.  If you are only throwing one day,  please consider volunteering the day you are not throwing.  We need Judges, Markers and Shaggers!

If you have family coming to cheer you on, they will need to purchase general admission tickets to get in. We now have added an option to the registration confirmation where you can purchase advanced discounted tickets for them. These are 2-Day passes and are at a special price. There is a limit of 5 tickets per registration, please only use these for your family. These tickets are available to athletes competing in the Heavy Event at the Prescott Highland Games.

Athletic Hold Harmless Clause

I hereby authorize THE PRESCOTT AREA CELTIC SOCIETY (PACS) / THE PRESCOTT HIGHLAND GAMES & CELTIC FAIRE (PHG), and all associated parties to use photographs of the above-named in their brochures, pamphlets, advertising and other purposes in any way relating to PACS/PHG activities. This is a "Drug Free Games" - anyone who has illegally employed controlled substances for athletic performance enhancement will be disqualified for being contrary to good sportsmanship. By signing this application I verify I do not illegally use controlled substances for performance enhancement.

Removing any portion of the fence during the event is not allowed and violators will be asked to leave the premises.

**THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY - READ BEFORE SIGNING**

I agree that THE PRESCOTT AREA CELTIC SOCIETY (PACS)/THE PRESCOTT HIGHLAND GAMES & CELTIC FAIRE (PHG), their officers, directors and members or agents (hereinafter, the "RELEASED PARTIES") shall not be liable or responsible for injury to me (including paralyses or death) or damage to my property occurring during any PACS/PHG event or activity and resulting from acts or omissions occurring during the performance of the duties of the Released Parties, even where the damage or injury is caused by negligence (except willful neglect). I understand and agree that all members and guests participate voluntarily, and at their own risk in all PACS/PHG activities/events/games and that I assume all risks of injury and damage arising out of the conduct of such activities.

I release and hold the Released Parties harmless from any injury or loss to my person or property which may result from my participation in the PACS/PHG activities, games and events. I understand by signing this page I agree not to pursue legal action against the Released Parties for any injury or resulting damage to myself or my property arising from, or in connection with the performance of their participation/duties in sponsoring, planning or conducting said events.

I agree to the site terms set forth by PACS/PHG and the City of Prescott, Arizona. Our continued use of any property is dependent on adherence to all rules. Anyone (individual, group, organization or similar) found not obeying posted instructions during the event will be fined $100 and must leave the property immediately.

Events:
The athletic competition will consist of nine events. Athletes must compete in all nine events in order to qualify for the overall award. The nine events are: Braemar Stone, Open Stone, Heavy and Light Weights For Distance, Heavy and Light Hammers, Weight for Height, Caber, and Sheaf Toss. Master, Lightweights, and Women’s open will compete on Saturday. Mens Lightweights will compete on Sunday.
Men’s A, B, and C will compete on Sunday.


Rules:
Competition will be conducted in accordance to SAAA rules. All athletes must wear a kilt during competition.
Check-in time for all athletes begins at 8:30am at the heavy events field tent and will close promptly at 9am
Field registration will be accepted if class size and safety permits, by the decision of the AD.
